Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What are veneers, and how do they work?

Veneers are custom-made, thin shells crafted from durable porcelain or sculpted composite resin. They are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth to address concerns such as discolouration, chips, gaps and minor misalignments, creating a flawless, radiant smile.

Should I choose porcelain or composite veneers?

Both create beautiful results. Porcelain offers exceptional durability and stain resistance for long-term smile makeovers, while composite is a more conservative, budget-friendly option often completed in a single visit. At your consultation we'll assess your teeth and goals and recommend the option that's right for you.

How long do veneers last?

When properly cared for, veneers can provide long-lasting results. High-quality porcelain veneers are known for their durability and stain-resistant properties. Regular dental check-ups and good oral hygiene are essential to keeping them beautiful for years to come.

Are veneers suitable for everyone?

Veneers are an excellent option for many people, but not everyone. A comprehensive evaluation by a qualified dental professional is needed to determine your suitability. If you have severely compromised teeth, extensive decay or significant misalignment, we may recommend an alternative treatment.

Does getting veneers hurt?

The process is typically well tolerated. A local anaesthetic is used to ensure a comfortable experience, and most patients report little to no discomfort. Any temporary sensitivity after bonding usually subsides quickly.
